
I FIRST FOUND YOGA IN 2001AS A WAY TO HEAL MY BODY, OVER TIME IT HAS BECOME SO MUCH MORE. JOIN ME AS WE EXPLORE THIS ANCIENT PRACTICE TO ALIGN OUR MIND, BODY & SOUL TOGETHER.
My teaching style is based around awareness. Awareness of how the body talks to you in each posture so we can deeper understand where we need to unlock ourselves, awareness of how the breath moves in and out of the body, and awareness of the chatter of the mind as we challenge ourselves and our limitations. By strengthening our awareness on the mat we are better able to understand ourselves and improve our lives off the mat.
KUNDALINI YOGA
Kundalini Yoga includes all 8 Limbs of Yoga and helps to elevate consciousness through a combination of breathwork,  movement, meditation and mantra.
As well as calming the mind, oxygenating the blood and strengthening the body, Kundalini Yoga can help reset our nervous system helping us to deal with stress, boost our immune system and balance the hemispheres of our brain.
Our energy centres (chakras) and ten bodies can be realigned, our intuition hightened and our vibration raised. Our connection to ourselves, and infinite consciousness can be improved and we can be better able to handle what life throws at us with strength and grace.


STRETCH & BREATHE
Inspired by my training in Kundalini Yoga, my experience of living with scoliosis and nearly 20 years of practice; STRETCH & BREATHE is designed to help align you mind, body & soul.
Through conscious movement and longer holds we explore the edge of our comfort zone to build strength and flexibility in both our body and mind.
Designed to leave you feeling stronger off the mat and enable you to take your yoga practice into everyday life we will explore mindfulness within the practice and each class ends with deep relaxation and meditation to help achieve to leave us feeling renewed and awakened to our own potential.
