In the run up to December my YouTube feed was filled with creators getting ready for Vlogmas, and I thought to myself what a great way to share a wide variety of techniques for mental health improvement. After all nothing is one glove fits all!


During December I shared things that worked for me, some things that didn't (but might for someone else) and even spoke to some practitioners to share in their expertise!

DAY 1: the importance of getting out into the fresh air


DAY 2: the importance of talking about difficulties, but also giving yourself permission to do all the 'wellbeing' things and still not being OK, and to seek medical intervention if necessary


DAY 3: getting started with essential oils

DAY 13: using Left Nostril Breathing to hack our parasympathetic nervous system to destress


DAY 14: struggling to meditate? why not try a mala


DAY 15: unwind with a 5 minute body scan


DAY 16: using some simple journal prompts to get things off our minds and create space for nicer things


DAY 17: as Taylor Swift once said "shake it off" with this quick shaking practice


DAY 18: a sun salutation style warm up to start the day right


DAY 20: a chat with Michelle from Edge of Sacred about the power of sound


DAY 21: reflect on the year at the Winter Solstice


DAY 22: need a reason to go outdoors? why not try your hand at gardening


DAY 23: bring a little more balance into your life with some Alternate Nostril Breathing


DAY 24: look a head to the New Year with me!
